On the 1st of June 2016, I set out in an easterly direction from the Senedd in Cardiff Bay and headed towards Chepstow on the Wales Coast Path. There I joined the Offa’s Dyke Path and headed north for 177 miles to Prestatyn. Once I arrived I proceeded to Chester in order to rejoin the beginning of the Wales Coast Path. From Chester, I continued walking anti-clockwise around the coast until I arrived back at the Send on the 1st of November, the beginning of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.
